Banbury Drug Dealers Caged After Crack and Heroin Bust
Three suspects have been locked up following a major drug bust in Banbury. Dominic Daly-Vint, 30, Lewis Ayre, 23, and Samantha Halliday, 30, all pleaded guilty to dealing class A drugs, including crack cocaine and heroin.
Prison Sentences Handed Down at Oxford Crown Court
On Friday 17 June, Oxford Crown Court sentenced the trio. Daly-Vint got four and a half years. Ayre received five years and three months. Halliday escaped jail but was handed a two-year suspended sentence plus 240 hours of community service.
Drugs Discovered in Raids on Hornton Drive
- On 30 March last year, police stopped Daly-Vint and Ayre under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
- Officers found a stash of class A drugs inside a house on Hornton Drive, where Daly-Vint held a key.
- Halliday was arrested after showing up during the search.
- All three were charged on 13 December 2021.
Police Warn: Drug Supply Won’t Be Tolerated
“I am very pleased this investigation has resulted in these convictions,” said PC Jordan McClay from Bicester police station.
“This sends a strong message that drug supply will be targeted relentlessly by the Stronghold team.”
