Two Arrested in Kenya Over Teen’s Fatal Stabbing Brought Back to UK

Siyad Mohamud, 23, and Tariq Montiero, 21, both with no fixed address, were arrested in Kenya and flown back to the UK on Sunday, 31 January.

The pair appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court the next day, Monday 31 January. They have been remanded in custody and are set to face trial at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 2 February.

The charges relate to the tragic death of Alex, aged 16, who was discovered with fatal stab wounds in Munster Square, near Euston Road, on 12 August 2019.
