Two Teens Busted in High-Stakes Hacking Probe!

City of London Police Crack Down on Teen Hackers

The City of London Police have made a major move against a notorious hacking group. Two teenagers, aged just 16 and 17, have been charged and are currently held in police custody.

Charged with Serious Cyber Crimes

Detective Inspector Michael O’Sullivan revealed the teens face multiple charges:

  • Three counts of unauthorised computer access with intent to damage data reliability
  • One count of fraud by false representation
  • One count of unauthorised access aimed at blocking data access

Additionally, the 16-year-old faces another charge for forcing a computer to perform an unauthorised function to gain access to a program.

Next Stop: Highbury Corner Magistrates Court

Both teens are set to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court this morning (1 April 2022) as the investigation continues.
