Tragedy on A303: 11-Year-Old Boy Dies in Horror Crash
A black BMW slammed into a parked lorry on the A303 near Stonehenge at around 7.30pm, leaving an 11-year-old boy from London dead at the scene.
Two Others Seriously Hurt, Lorry Driver Unscathed
The BMW, heading westbound from the Countess Roundabout, collided with the lorry parked in a layby. A man in his 40s, driving the car, and a 15-year-old passenger—also from London—sustained potentially life-changing injuries. Both were rushed to Southampton General Hospital.
The lorry driver escaped uninjured.
A303 Westbound Still Closed After Fatal Crash
The westbound carriageway of the A303 remains shut while investigations continue. The eastbound side has reopened.
Police Plead for Witnesses to Come Forward
“This is a tragic incident where a young boy has lost his life, and two more people are seriously injured,” said A/Insp Will Ayres of the Roads Policing Unit.
“Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts go out to them at this very difficult time.”
