Lorry Driver Dies in Horror A27 Crash at Bosham

David Ifould Named Victim

The lorry driver who tragically died in a collision on the A27 at Bosham, near Chichester, has been identified as David Ifould, 55, from Hawke Close, Andover.

Crash Details

The fatal smash happened just after 2:20pm last Thursday on the eastbound A27. Emergency crews pronounced Mr Ifould dead at the scene.

Other Driver Escapes Serious Injury

The driver of the skip loader, a 44-year-old man from Hayling Island, suffered minor injuries and was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester for treatment.

A27 Shut for Hours

The collision forced the closure of the A27 in both directions until 1am Friday. Investigations and vehicle recovery caused lengthy delays for drivers on the busy route.
