Parking Row Turns Nasty as Man Left in Critical Condition After Brutal Attack in Enfield
Police are hunting for witnesses after a parking dispute in Enfield ended with a 68-year-old man seriously assaulted and fighting for his life.
Violent Clash Over Parking Spots
The drama unfolded around 9.40pm on Friday, 20 April, on Millais Road, EN1. Officers were called following a heated altercation between two drivers – one in a white Mercedes and the other in a black Volkswagen.
The victim was the Volkswagen driver. Although he seemed fine at the scene and wasn’t immediately hospitalised, his condition worsened, and he was rushed to an east London hospital on 26 April, where he remains in critical condition.
Arrest Made as Police Probe Assault
Enfield CID detectives are on the case. A man in his 20s was arrested on 1 May at an Enfield address, suspected of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH). He is still in custody at a north-east London police station.
