The break-in happened around 6pm as the pensioner watched TV. She was startled by a loud bang. When she checked, three masked men forced their way inside. The intruders made her stay put in the kitchen while two of them ransacked the house for about five minutes.
They escaped with the victim’s handbag, which contained £50 in cash, a bank card, bus pass, and other personal belongings.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have released images of the suspects but no arrests have been made yet. Officers urge anyone with CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the Miles Platting, Saxon Road, or Bradford Road areas around 6pm on Christmas Eve to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Terina Arthern thanked the community for their support: “Your messages are deeply appreciated and have been passed onto the victim and her family.” She vowed police will leave no stone unturned to catch the culprits and protect the victim.
