Victim Survives After Shocking Knife Attack in Nottinghamshire
A man stabbed in a terrifying attack managed to drag himself to a nearby shop for help. Emergency services were called, and he was rushed to hospital with a wound to his neck and shoulder. Luckily, he has now been discharged and is recovering.
Police Hunt Man Seen Near the Scene
Detectives have released photos of a man they believe holds vital clues. The suspect is described as a lean black male in his early 20s, standing between 5ft 11ins and 6ft 4ins tall. During the incident, he wore a blue puffer jacket, dark hoodie and bottoms, and grey trainers.
Detective Urges Public to Help Crack Knife Crime Case
“We treat all forms of knife crime with the utmost seriousness, and we are working tirelessly to find the person responsible for this attack, including trawling through CCTV footage,” said Detective Sergeant Georgina Gallagher of Nottinghamshire Police.
DS Gallagher made a direct call to anyone who was near the area or recognises the man in the photos. “If you know who he is or are the man in the picture, we would ask you to get in touch as soon as possible.”
