Breakthrough in Tyrone Pinnock Murder Probe
Detectives have made a major breakthrough in the murder investigation of Tyrone Pinnock, who was fatally stabbed in Kensington. On Thursday, 19 October, at 6.42pm, a passerby flagged down a police car on Kensal Road, W10, after finding a man bleeding heavily. Officers rushed to give first aid and called paramedics, but sadly, Tyrone Pinnock, 36, died at the scene.
Suspect Arrested, Police Continue Hunt for Answers
The victim was confirmed as Tyrone Pinnock, a local man from Harrow Road. Grieving family members are being supported by specially trained officers. On Monday, 23 October, police arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of murder. The suspect remains in custody, answering detectives’ questions as the probe heats up.
The Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command is leaving no stone unturned. They are chasing multiple leads and appealing to the public for any info. Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson, heading the inquiry, said:
“We are following several lines of enquiry with a skilled team of detectives. We urge anyone with information, no matter how small it seems, to come forward.”
Police Boost Presence, Community Reassured
In response to the murder, Chief Superintendent Louise Puddefoot has increased patrols in the area to reassure residents and offer support. She sent her condolences to Tyrone’s family, stating:
“We continue to support Tyrone’s family during this difficult time. My thoughts remain with them.”
