Havant Horror: Pedestrian Seriously Hurt in Horror Smash

Hampshire cops are hunting witnesses after a nasty collision in Havant on Tuesday night.

Crash Details

At 6.30pm on August 21, officers rushed to Elmleigh Road where a Vauxhall Corsa smashed into a 60-year-old pedestrian. The man suffered serious injuries and was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Driver Arrested, Then Released

The driver, a 20-year-old local lad, escaped injury. He was arrested on suspicion of driving over the alcohol limit and under the influence of drugs. Police have since released him but the investigation is far from over.

Police Appeal for Witnesses
