The London Fire Brigade (LFB) rushed to the scene at 9:52 am on Monday, confronting heavy flames engulfing a semi-detached home. Around 25 firefighters from Chingford, Woodford, Enfield, and Walthamstow stations fought the blaze. Despite their efforts, much of the ground floor was severely damaged.
Victim Pronounced Dead at Scene
Tragically, the man was declared dead at the scene. The LFB got the fire under control by 11:07 am. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution during the emergency response.
