Growing Fears for Missing Mum Khasha Smith

Khasha was last heard from on November 4, 2023. The disappearance is highly unusual, according to detectives, who have launched an intensive hunt, including officers posted outside her home in Edinburgh’s Calder area.

Police have reviewed CCTV footage that suggests Khasha may have been spotted in Slateford between November 21 and 24. The investigation is ongoing as fears mount over her safety.

Family and Friends Desperate for Answers

A source close to the case said, “Detectives are extremely worried something sinister has happened to her. There are real fears for her.” Khasha’s family situation is complex, which delayed her being reported missing until months after she lost contact with relatives.

Inspector Keith Forrester added, “She normally keeps in touch with her family, so this long silence is very worrying.”

Friends have taken to social media begging for Khasha’s safe return. Denise Smith pleaded, “Khasha, please get in touch with any of the family; we are all worried about you.” Friend Carrie Duke added, “We just need you home and to know you’re OK.”
