At just after 6am on Thursday 28 April 2022, disaster struck on the westbound A299 Thanet Way near the Dargate Road exit. A green Kawasaki motorcycle was involved in a fatal one-vehicle crash.
Rider Pronounced Dead at Scene
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, the motorcyclist — a man in his 40s — was pronounced dead.
Serious Collision Unit Launches Investigation
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is probing the tragedy. They’re urging anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to step forward.
