Armed Police Strike Fast After Morning Assault
Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3 multi-storey car park descended into chaos early Sunday morning. At 8:11am on 7 December, police raced to the scene after reports of a violent group assault. Armed officers arrived within nine minutes and arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of assault. He is currently in custody as detectives hunt for other suspects.
Pepper Spray Mayhem Injures 21 Including Toddler
The London Ambulance Service treated 21 people caught up in the pepper spray attack, including a three-year-old girl. Five victims were rushed to hospital, but thankfully, none suffered life-threatening injuries.
Robbery Sparked Violent Incident
Commander Peter Stevens: “A woman had her suitcase stolen by four men who then sprayed pepper spray inside a car park lift. Those trapped inside, along with bystanders, were affected by the spray.”
Police believe the attack was an isolated incident involving people who knew each other. They are now combing through CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses to unravel the full story.
Commander Stevens added: “We understand the public’s concern and commend the swift action of emergency services and Heathrow staff.”
