Tragedy on West Denton Way as 19-Year-Old Dies in Horror BMW Crash
A 19-year-old man has died following a shocking one-vehicle crash on West Denton Way, West Denton, yesterday afternoon.
Car Smashes Into Bus Stop
The grey BMW careered off the road and slammed into a bus stop where several people were waiting at around 4pm BST.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but despite desperate efforts, the young driver was pronounced dead.
Two Women Injured at Bus Stop
Two women waiting at the bus stop suffered injuries. One sustained serious but non-life-threatening wounds and remains in hospital. The other suffered minor injuries.
Three Arrested Over Dangerous Driving
Police have arrested three men, aged 24, 21, and 21, suspected of causing death by dangerous driving. All remain in custody while investigations continue.
The victim’s family have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers have reopened the section of West Denton Way that was closed but are urging anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward.
