Manhunt Underway for Suspect in Shocking Greenwich Double Attack

Police are hunting Joe Xuereb, 27, in connection with a brutal assault on two women in Greenwich. The victims, aged 30 and 64, remain critically ill in hospital.

Urgent Appeal as Suspect Flees

Xuereb, a white male with short light hair, was last spotted riding a black and orange push bike. He wore beige trousers, a white top, and black trainers at the time.

Authorities warn Xuereb may have mental health issues, urging the public not to approach him. Anyone with information is told to call 999 immediately.

Grim Crime Scene at Adderley Gardens

The attack unfolded around 12.10pm at Adderley Gardens, SE9. Emergency services found the two women with serious injuries consistent with violent assault. Both remain in critical condition in South London hospitals. Their next of kin have been informed.

Detective Superintendent Jane Corrigan said, “We are doing everything to track down Joe Xuereb and bring him in for questioning over this horrific attack. Please call 999 if you know where he is, but do not approach him.”
