Woman Found Dead After Romford House Fire – Man Arrested
Tragedy struck in Romford early Thursday as police responded to a disturbance at a home on Valentines Way. Just after 6:45am on 2 August, officers arrived following reports of trouble at the address.
Minutes later, firefighters were called to a blaze at the same property. Inside, they discovered the body of a woman in her early 50s. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Death Treated as Unexplained, Murder Arrest Made
The cause of death remains unknown as police wait for a post-mortem exam. A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder at the property and is currently in custody at an east London police station.
