Leeds Man Dies After Assault Outside Vintage Rock Bar
Detectives in Doncaster have launched a murder investigation following the death of Jamie Adam Kelly, 30, from Leeds. Jamie died in hospital today after being seriously injured in an assault outside the Vintage Rock Bar on Silver Street late on Sunday (May 1).
At around 9.40pm, Jamie was reportedly thrown out of the club and got into a violent fight with three men outside. Police and paramedics administered CPR at the scene before he was rushed to hospital, where he later died.
Three Men Arrested on Murder Suspicion
A 40-year-old from Worksop, a 26-year-old from Nottingham, and a 33-year-old man (details withheld) have all been arrested on suspicion of murder. They were initially detained over serious assault but now face more serious charges. All remain in police custody as inquiries continue.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detectives thank the public for already coming forward with tips, photos, and videos. However, they still want to speak to anyone who was inside or near Vintage Rock Bar during the incident and hasn’t yet shared information.
