Newport Man Busted After Cowes Stabbing Horror
Police have made a swift arrest following a brutal stabbing in Cowes in the early hours of Tuesday, 24 July.
18-Year-Old Victim Stabbed in Back
Just after midnight, officers were called to reports of a serious assault near Love Lane and Windmill Close. An 18-year-old local man was found with two stab wounds to his back.
The victim was rushed to St Mary’s Hospital. Thankfully, medics say his injuries are not life-threatening. He remains under hospital care.
23-Year-Old from Carisbrooke Held
Acting fast, cops arrested a 23-year-old man from Carisbrooke on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He is currently in custody as investigations continue.
