Detectives are upping the ante with a hefty £20,000 reward as the one-year anniversary of a tragic crash in Barnet looms. Bhagwanji Rughani, 80, was fatally hit by a white van in a supermarket car park on September 24, 2022.
Family Pleads for Answers
Heartbroken family members shared their grief, saying, “The whole family is devastated by the tragic loss of our loving father, and we all miss him dearly every day.” They hope the reward will finally crack the case.

Police Still Investigating
Detective Constable Jonathan Stokes said the victim’s death left many “shattered,” and urged anyone with info to come forward. Two men arrested earlier have been released without charge.
