Young Man Killed in Horrific Lorry Crash on Lytton Grove
A man in his 20s has died after being hit by a lorry on Lytton Grove, SW15. The tragedy unfolded shortly after 1:40pm on Saturday, November 2.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
The London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service alerted police at 1:43pm following reports of the collision. Paramedics and officers arrived fast, but despite life-saving attempts, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The lorry driver stayed on site and is cooperating fully with the investigation. No arrests have been made.
Road Closures and Witness Appeal
Police have shut roads around Lytton Grove as they carry out inquiries and clear the area. Commuters are urged to find alternative routes and avoid the scene.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Emergency services attended. Sadly, despite efforts, the pedestrian, believed to be in his 20s, died shortly after. The driver stopped at the scene. Road closures remain in place.”
Authorities are appealing for anyone who saw the crash or has information to step forward and assist the investigation.
