Four Men Arrested After Violent Assault in Canterbury

Kent Police rushed to St Dunstan’s Street at 11:35pm on Wednesday, 4 November 2020, following reports that a man and woman had been attacked by a group. During the assault, a silver neck chain was stolen from the victims.

Suspects in Custody but Released Under Investigation

After quick investigations, officers arrested four men: two 21-year-olds from Canterbury, and two men aged 21 and 22 from London. All have since been released under investigation as inquiries continue.

Police Appeal for Witnesses to Come Forward

Detectives thanked those who have already provided information. They urge anyone who witnessed the incident but hasn’t spoken to police yet to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/198164/20.
