Fake Game Show Nightmare: Man Filmed in Nude ‘Challenges’ for Sick Voyeur’s Pleasure

In June 2018, a 28-year-old man reported a chilling scam to police. He was approached by a 29-year-old claiming to be from the entertainment world. The catch? Take part in a fake game show to win £5000.

The reality was far darker. The victim was taken to a Newham hotel for a series of nude “challenges” that were filmed without consent. The suspect kept the footage for his own gratification.

Second Victim Comes Forward: Similar Abuse in 2013

On Sunday, 2 February 2020, a second man, aged 31, stepped forward. He said the suspect coerced him back in August 2013 to a South East London hotel for the same vile treatment.

Police Arrest and Call for More Victims

The Met Police arrested the 29-year-old suspect on 30 January 2019, charging him with voyeurism. He was later released under investigation.

Sergeant James Mason said, “We believe there may be more victims in relation to these events. I urge anyone who may be a victim of similar crimes or incidents from 2013 to the present day, to come forward with information.”

“The reported incidents took place several years ago and it is important we are able to investigate these and support any further victims.”
