Massive Search Underway for Missing Lancashire Woman
A frantic hunt is on for 45-year-old Nicola Bulley, who vanished while out walking her dog in Inskip, Lancashire.
Nicola was last spotted around 9:15 a.m., two days ago, on a footpath by the River Wyre off Garstang Road in St Michael’s on Wyre.
Community Joins Search for Nicola
A huge team, including 123 volunteers rocking ankle wellies, has joined police efforts to find her. Nicola was seen with her hair tied back in a ponytail.
She has ties to Thornton Cleveleys, Inskip, and St Michael’s on Wyre.
Police Issue Urgent Appeal as Concern Grows
Police say they are “extremely concerned” and are following several leads. Chief Inspector Chris Barton said:
“Nicola has been missing for two days, and we are very worried about her. If anyone saw her on Friday morning or has any information, please contact us immediately.”
“Our detectives are working tirelessly. Alongside officers, partner agencies, and volunteer groups, we are searching the area where she was last seen.”
Warning Over Dangerous River Wyre
Officers urged the local community organising searches to stay safe. They warned the River Wyre and its banks are extremely dangerous and pose serious risks to the public.
