Man Attacked at ATM in Early Morning Robbery

A man in his 50s was punched while using an ATM on Railway Street at around 12:45am on Wednesday, 15 September 2021. The attacker stole his bank card and a sum of cash.

Suspect Description Released

The robber is described as a black male, about 5ft 7ins tall. He wore a black hoodie and blue jeans during the attack.

Police Appeal for Help After Fraudulent Transactions

Officers worked with the victim to create a computer-generated image of the suspect. After the robbery, the stolen bank card was used in several shops within the same town.

Police reviewed CCTV footage and believe the man captured could help with their investigation. Anyone who recognises him or the attacker is urged to contact the police on 01634 792209, quoting 46/176800/21.
