Plumber Impostors Threaten Kids and Raid Rotherham Home

Two dodgy blokes pretending to be plumbers turned up at a house on Hartley Close, Kilnhurst, Rotherham, on Thursday 16 June at about 3.30pm.

They told the children at the property they needed to get in straight away to fix some pipes.

Victims Threatened as Thieves Ransack Home

Once inside, the pair went through the house, stealing items and even slapping one of the kids across the face before making a quick getaway. They headed off towards Newsome Street and Highthorne Road.

Police Appeal for Information

  • The suspects are both white men, early twenties, wearing surgical masks.
  • One was in a black and white checked shirt, the other in a red T-shirt.

Police want anyone with info, dash cam or CCTV footage to get in touch. Call 101 quoting incident number 631 from June 16, or email [email protected] with the incident number in the subject.
