Shotgun Fired at Two Boys in Chingford
On Monday, 13 September, two 17-year-old boys had a terrifying close call in Chingford, Waltham Forest. Around 9.30pm, as they stood outside a house, a stolen car sped past. A suspect inside fired two shotgun shots, narrowly missing the teens who dived for cover before the vehicle sped off.

The Met’s elite Trident unit, specialising in gun and gang crime, launched an intense probe. Their investigation quickly identified several suspects linked to the shooting.
Early Morning Raids Net Six Teen Arrests
In dawn raids on 11 November, Territorial Support Group officers swooped on suspects. Six males aged 16 to 18 were arrested and taken to an east London police station, where they remain in custody. Officers also seized around £1,000 in cash during the operation.
