Two Arrested in North London Human Trafficking Sting
Detectives have swooped on a ruthless gang trafficking young Brazilian women into north London’s brothels. Two suspects were arrested after dawn raids at three Wembley properties on Wednesday, April 15.
Woman and Man Held Over Modern Slavery
A 28-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were hauled in on suspicion of modern slavery and human trafficking. They are currently in custody at a north London police station as the investigation rolls on.
Victims Lured With Fake UK Scholarships
The criminal ring tricked women from Brazil with promises of scholarships to study in the UK. But once here, the victims were forced to work in Harrow and Wembley brothels to pay off inflated debts for flights, housing, and fake education fees.
