Woman Pushed to Ground in Shocking Salisbury Assault
Wiltshire Police are hunting a thug who attacked a woman on The Downs, near Bishopdown Road, Salisbury. The shocking assault happened just before 3pm on Monday, 23 September.
Suspect Flees After Threatening Woman
The victim was approached from behind by a white male with stubble, wearing a grey tracksuit and hood pulled up. He threatened her, then shoved her to the ground, causing minor injuries. The suspect then fled through bushes towards Bishopdown Road.
Police Step Up Patrols, Ask Public for Help
Inspector Tina Osborn said, “We are taking this report very seriously. Officers were in the area immediately after being alerted and carried out searches.”
“There will be increased police presence while the investigation continues. If you have any information, please come forward.”
