Teen Girl’s Verbal Abuse Sparks Punch-Up Near High Street Bus Station

On Friday 19 August 2022, between 8pm and 8.20pm, a teenage boy was verbally abused by a teenage girl as she followed him down the High Street. The verbal assault quickly escalated, and the boy was punched multiple times near the bus station.

Victim Suffers Non-Serious Injuries

The victim sustained non-serious injuries from the attack. Shortly afterward, three or four passersby approached him to check if he was okay, showing quick public support.

Police Identify Suspect, Seek Witnesses

Kent Police have identified and spoken to a suspect. Detectives now want to hear from anyone who stopped to assist the victim or witnessed the incident.
