Six Fire Engines And Approximately 40 Firefighters Were Dispatched To A Burning House On The Bishops Avenue In East Finchley

The fire destroyed the detached house’s roof, first floor, and ground floor. There were no reported injuries.

Station Commander Rob Hazzard, who was present at the time, stated: “Because the property was believed to be vacant and unoccupied at the time of the fire, there were no reports of injuries.

When firefighters arrived, they found a large fire that had engulfed the entire structure.

“Crews worked tirelessly to put out the fire and bring it under control.”

The Fire Brigade was called at 3.45am, and the fire was out by 6am. Finchley, West Hampstead, Hornsey, and Kentish Town fire stations all responded.

The fire’s origin is being investigated.
