Tragic Stabbing Victim at Strawberry Hill Station Identified as 21-Year-Old Anojan Gnaneswaran

The victim of a fatal stabbing at uk/topic/strawberry-hill/">Strawberry Hill station earlier this week has been identified as Anojan Gnaneswaran, a 21-year-old resident of Twickenham. The tragic incident occurred on Monday, January 8, when Anojan was fatally stabbed at the london/" title="SOUTH LONDON" target="_blank" rel="noopener">south London train station.

Police were called to Strawberry Hill station shortly before midnight in response to reports of a serious stabbing. Upon arrival, Anojan was discovered with a critical stab wound and tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

In connection with this heartbreaking incident, two individuals have been arrested: a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old male. Their arrests follow the release under investigation of three other individuals previously detained, including a 19-year-old man, a 20-year-old man, and a 15-year-old boy. Additionally, a 16-year-old boy has been released on bail.

The family of Anojan Gnaneswaran has requested privacy during this difficult time as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
