A fierce fire tore through the Drop Dead Twice bar on Francis Street at 4.30am this morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene after multiple 999 calls.
Five Fire Units Battle Flames
The Dublin Fire Brigade deployed five units to tackle the “well-developed fire” blazing on the ground floor. Firefighters worked quickly to douse the flames before they spread further.
Smoke Inhalation Victims Treated Nearby
After bringing the fire under control, crews ventilated the building with powerful fans. Two people suffered smoke inhalation in a neighbouring property and were treated on site.
