Garage Blaze in Gillingham Sparks Roof Collapse
Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to a raging garage fire in Elmfield, Gillingham. Two fire engines smashed the flames with a main jet and a hose reel jet, battling smoke in full breathing gear.
Roof Comes Crashing Down
The fierce fire caused the garage roof to cave in, but thankfully no one was hurt in the blaze.
Accidental Spark from Charging Batteries
Investigators believe the blaze started accidentally due to several batteries being on charge. The fire’s origin is thought to be linked to overheating.
