Brighton’s Parking Officers Deliver Christmas Cheer to Disadvantaged Kids
Dozens of struggling children in Brighton & Hove are set for a merry Christmas thanks to the generosity of the city’s Civil Enforcement Officers.
Officers from NSL, the council’s parking enforcement partner, have collected hundreds of toys and books in recent weeks. They handed these gifts to the Brightstore foodbank, supporting families in Whitehawk and Hollingdean.
Officers Show They’re More Than Just Traffic Enforcers
NSL’s Lynda Nutley praised her team’s incredible kindness. “The response was absolutely fantastic,” she said. “They’re living the company’s ‘Beyond the Uniform’ values – proving they’re not just enforcers but caring members of the community.”
Nutley added the donations would help create a truly special Christmas for local families and children.
City Bosses Cheer Festive Spirit
Brighton Councillor Trevor Muten, Cabinet Member for Transport and City Infrastructure, applauded the officers’ festive efforts. “This initiative shows the generosity and Christmas spirit of these hardworking officers,” he said.
“The donated toys will make a huge difference to children in need. Thanks to NSL for spreading joy and festive cheer across Brighton & Hove.”
