Detectives investigating an attempted robbery in Camden are appealing for witnesses

Police were called to Platts Lane, NW3, shortly before 5pm on Thursday, 25 July to reports of an attempted robbery. It was reported that two suspects on a motorbike had attempted to rob a man. The driver of a vehicle, along with his female passenger and another male, managed to get away unharmed and travelled to a restaurant in Golders uk/news/uk/tag/green/" title="Green" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="104510">Green, where they were spoken to by officers. Detectives from as Operation Venice are investigating and have been conducting enquiries in the area of the attempted robbery today (Friday, 26 July). Chief Inspector Jim Corbett, of Operation Venice, said: “The Met continues to work hard to reduce moped, scooter and motorcycle offending in London. Over the past 12 months we have reduced offences by more than half and will continue to target offending. “Whilst Detectives are actively pursuing lines of enquiry, I would ask any member of the public who has any information or video footage to contact police.” Anyone who witnessed this incident or has information is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 6148/26JUL,
