Watch Thief Makes Swift Getaway from West Quay

At 4.07pm on Wednesday, February 23, a brazen thief struck at Goldsmiths in West Quay, swiping three pricey Breitling watches in a flash.

The man calmly asked to see three Breitling watches. When the assistant presented them, he grabbed all three and sprinted out the door. He dashed towards Marks and Spencer and then disappeared towards the Podium car park.

The stolen timepieces are valued at a whopping £23,050.

Police Seek Public’s Help

The suspect is described as mixed race, around 5ft 6ins tall, slim build, with short dark hair. He wore a long black hooded jacket resembling a Goose style, black trainers with white soles, and black jeans.

Police urge anyone who recognises this man from CCTV footage or has any information to come forward.
