Concern Mounts as Leeds Man Vanishes for Nearly Two Weeks
Police are growing increasingly worried over Anthony Whitehouse, a 42-year-old man missing from Leeds since late June. His family has not heard from him for nearly two weeks, sparking urgent appeals to find him.
Last Seen in Headingley – Police Release CCTV Footage
Anthony disappeared from the Headingley area on July 5, but the last confirmed sighting was at Sainsbury’s on Otley Road at 1:43pm on Thursday, June 29. CCTV images show him leaving the store and heading along Otley Road towards the crossroads with Shaw Lane and St Anne’s Road.

Police Issue Urgent Call for Information
“It is completely out of character for Anthony to have been out of touch with his family for this amount of time and we are very concerned for his welfare,” said Detective Inspector Dan Bates of Leeds District CID.
“We are carrying out extensive enquiries to locate him including work to track his movements from Otley Road. We urge anyone who has seen him since June 29 to come forward.”
