Isle of Wight Ford Takeover: It’s All About Cars, Not Trouble
This weekend, the Isle of Wight hosts the explosive Ford Takeover car show at Beaper Shute campsite. Dozens of stunning Fords are rolling in for a jam-packed day of revs, roars, and gearhead glory.
Busy Roads on Sunday Morning
Car entry is open until 9.30am on Sunday, so expect heavy traffic early doors. Organisers stress this is a family-friendly, car-loving event—not a magnet for rowdy yobs.
“Some troublemakers have popped up in the past, but most attendees are genuine enthusiasts,”
they say.
Rev Off Competition: Who’s Got the Loudest Ford?
Think your Ford’s got the loudest engine? Prove it! For just £3, join the Rev Off battle where two drivers go head to head to claim the title of loudest Ford. Winners stay on to challenge the next contender, fighting for a “very naughty prize.” Pro tip: if you’re nearby, maybe keep your windows shut!
