A 45-year-old man’s death in an Orpington park is officially “unexplained,” say police. The victim was reported missing on New Year’s Day.
Found Unresponsive in Grasmere Gardens
Officers were called to Grasmere Gardens at about 7.45pm on January 2 after reports of a man found unresponsive. Despite urgent attention, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No Suspicion of Foul Play, Police Confirm
A Met Police spokeswoman said: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not thought to be suspicious.
Because the man was reported missing the day before, the Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed as a routine measure.
