Massive Blaze Erupts at Waste Recycling Factory in Hayes

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) rushed to a massive fire at a factory on Rigby Lane, Hayes, late Monday night. The factory, packed with around 400 tonnes of waste recycling, went up in flames, prompting a huge emergency response.

15 Fire Engines and 100 Firefighters Battling Fierce Blaze

LFB confirmed dispatching 15 fire engines and about 100 firefighters from across Hillingdon, Heathrow, Feltham, Hayes, Heston, and nearby stations. They arrived at the scene at 11.41pm and immediately sprang into action.

Gas Cylinders Removed to Prevent Dangerous Explosions

As a safety measure, crews removed roughly ten gas cylinders, which risk exploding when heated. Two aerial ladders and a high volume pump were deployed to support the firefighting effort. The cause of the fire remains a mystery.

“A factory containing approximately 400 tonnes of waste recycling is on fire,” an LFB spokesperson said. “Crews are working hard to bring it under control.”
