P&O Ferry Services Could Halt for Up to 10 Days, Warns Transport Minister
Transport minister Robert Courts has slammed the chaos heading your way after P&O Ferries announced massive disruption. The giant operator is set to suspend all sailings for up to 10 days as it scraps its crews and hunts for replacements.

He stressed, “In taking this decision to make seafarers redundant, P&O has also today informed us they will be suspending services for approximately a week to 10 days while they locate the new crew.”
Passengers Face Disruption but Travel Will Go On
Despite the turmoil, Courts insisted there’s a silver lining. Other operators are being brought in to keep things moving. “Passengers will still be able to travel to and from the UK, including across the Channel, with freight coming in and out of the country,” he said.
However, the minister warned: “I must warn travellers they should expect some disruption over the coming days.”
