Police Hunt Man for Using Fake £20 Notes at Nottingham Asda

Police have released CCTV images of a suspect linked to the use of counterfeit banknotes at the Asda supermarket in Hyson Green, Nottingham.

The fraud happened on Saturday, August 3, 2024, when a customer reportedly paid with bogus £20 notes to buy a string of gift cards. Officers want to track down the man caught on camera to crack the case.

PC Jordan Hinds Issues Appeal

“The use of counterfeit banknotes is a serious offence, and we are determined to bring the offender to justice,” said PC Jordan Hinds of the City Central policing team. “We believe the individual in these images may be able to assist with the investigation and would encourage him to come forward.”
