Brutal XL Bully Dog Found Dead in South London Alley
A shocking animal cruelty case has rocked Carshalton, South London. An XL Bully dog was found dead in a filthy alley on Waltham Road, sparking outrage and calls for justice.
Horrific Abuse Revealed
The poor dog was discovered with its legs tightly bound, severe burn marks, and a fractured skull. To add to the horror, one of its ears had been chopped off. The savage injuries suggest it endured terrible suffering before its death on December 30.
XL Bully Ban Sparks Concerns
This chilling discovery came just one day before the new XL Bully ban came into force in England and Wales. Introduced by PM Rishi Sunak, the ban aims to boost public safety after a string of breed-related incidents. But the RSPCA warns the ban could fuel abandonment and maltreatment of these dogs.
RSPCA Pleads for Public Help
“This is a deeply concerning and disturbing incident. The dog was not only cruelly abused but also subjected to unimaginable suffering before its death. One of its ears was even cut off,” said RSPCA Inspector Harriet Daliday.
Daliday added, “With the ban now in effect, it’s more important than ever to protect these animals. Anyone with information about this or any other cruelty case must contact us immediately.”
The RSPCA urges witnesses to come forward if they saw anything suspicious near Waltham Road on December 30. Anyone with tips can call the RSPCA appeals line, quoting reference number 01202686. Authorities vow to bring the abuser to justice.
