Woman in Her 40s Killed in Horrific Kildare Crash
A terrifying smash on the R148 at Clondurry, near Enfield, Co Kildare, has claimed the life of a woman in her 40s. The tragedy unfolded around 6.15pm when her car collided head-on with a van.
Two Kids Fighting for Life After Shocking Collision
The woman died instantly at the scene, leaving a grieving family and community in shock. Two young children, passengers in the car, were rushed to Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) in Crumlin. They are said to be in serious but stable condition.
The van driver was also hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.
R148 Road Shut as Gardaí Hunt Witnesses
The crash forced the closure of the R148 between Enfield and Kilcock. Traffic is being rerouted with local diversions.
