Bus and Car Crash Shakes Addiscombe Morning
Police rushed to a crash scene at 9.33am on Sunday, 5 February, after a car collided with a bus at the busy junction of Shirley Road and Lower Addiscombe Road in Addiscombe.
Emergency Services Act Fast
Officers were joined by the London Ambulance Service and the Fire Brigade at the scene. Both drivers were taken to hospital for checks. Thankfully, their injuries were not life-threatening.
No Arrests, Traffic Recovery Underway
Police confirmed no arrests were made. They also helped arrange for the damaged vehicles to be recovered, easing rush hour disruption in the area.
