Blaze Hits Millionaire’s Row in West London

Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters battled a fierce flat fire on Warrington Crescent early this morning. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) were called at 6.18am after reports of people missing in the burning flats.

Chaos at the Scene – Residents Rescued

Fire teams from Paddington and nearby stations scrambled to the scene. A spokesman for the LFB revealed nine people were rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus:

  • Four from the third floor
  • Four from the second floor
  • One from the first floor

London Ambulance Service treated them for smoke inhalation. Another 15 residents managed to self-evacuate before the brigade arrived.

Fire Under Control – Cause Unknown

The blaze was brought under control by 7.40am. The cause remains unclear and is currently under investigation. Fire crews continue to secure the scene.
