Serious Crash on A2 Near Strood: Police Hunt Witnesses
Kent Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a serious collision on the A2 near Strood left a driver seriously injured.
Green Toyota Yaris Overturns, Causes Chaos
The crash happened at 4.40pm on Thursday, 4 July 2019, just before Junction 1 for the M2. A green Toyota Yaris flipped over, damaging two other vehicles in the process.
Driver Airlifted to London Hospital
Emergency crews, including officers and medics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. The Yaris driver was treated onsite for serious injuries before being taken to a London hospital for further care.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers are investigating the cause of the crash and want anyone who saw the car moments before the accident, or who has dashcam footage from the area around that time, to get in touch.
