Royals Share Heartwarming Christmas Family Snap
The Prince and Princess of Wales have melted hearts this Christmas with a charming new photo of their kids – Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George.
Captured in classic black and white, the picture shows the trio beaming with joy. Standing centre stage, Princess Charlotte wraps her arms lovingly around her brothers, creating a picture of pure sibling warmth.
Festive Cheers from the Wales Family
The royal couple wished the nation festive joy online, saying, “Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, from our family to yours!” The stunning shot was snapped by photographer Josh Shinner, adding a professional touch to this intimate moment.
Charlotte is dressed casually in jeans and a white blouse, her blonde locks flowing as she smiles brightly. On her left, cheeky Prince Louis sports shorts and a white shirt, lifting a leg playfully while glancing at his sister. Prince George matches their happy mood in jeans and a white shirt, completing the cosy trio.
Royal Christmas Traditions Underway
The snap was released bright and early on Christmas Day, following the family’s appearance at Princess Kate’s Christmas Carol Concert at 1 Abbey the night before. Young Prince Louis stole the show with adorable antics, including helping blow out his sister’s candle.
Later, the Wales family will join King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other royals at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk – the traditional venue for the royal Christmas festivities. The day begins with a morning service at St Mary Magdalene Church, with Charles, Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and their children all attending.
The King and Queen kicked off Christmas celebrations with a church service on Christmas Eve, greeting well-wishers as part of long-standing royal tradition.
King Charles to Deliver Eco-Focused Christmas Message
The festive fun continues with a traditional family lunch featuring turkey and all the trimmings. Later, King Charles will deliver his second Christmas message as monarch at 3pm, recorded in Buckingham Palace’s elegant Centre Room.
The room’s Christmas tree is beautifully decorated with sustainable natural ornaments like dried oranges, pine cones, paper, and glass baubles. The tree will even be replanted after the broadcast.
This year, the King’s speech will take a green turn, shining a spotlight on environmental issues – a shift away from the usual apolitical royal Christmas messages.
