Shocking early morning robbery on Ashton Road has police hunting two men who threatened a woman with a knife before snatching her bag.

At 5:25 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, a lone woman was walking along Ashton Road in Oldham when two men crept up from behind. One pulled a knife, demanding cash, then grabbed her bag and fled.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
PC Daniel Burton from GMP’s Oldham unit said: “This happened early morning but in broad daylight. We’re confident someone saw it.”
Authorities have released photos of the suspects, urging anyone who recognises them to get in touch. They are especially calling on drivers, including taxi drivers, to check dashcams for footage around that time.
